Abstract:
The excitation and propagation of exothermic reaction waves in a closed channel filled with gaseous oxygen at initial pressures of 0,1 -2
MPa are studied. The waves are excited by a heated Nichrome spiral coated with a small amount of VM-4 vacuum oil or render pork fat. The wave parameters and initial pressures at which flame propagation occurs in the channel are determined.
