Abstract: We consider equations describing one-dimensional non-stationary barotropic motions of mixtures of compressible viscous fluids within the framework of a multi-velocity approach. A theorem on the existence and uniqueness of a strong solution to the initial-boundary value problem corresponding to flows in a bounded domain is proved.
