Abstract: The authors study flows of particles of different sizes (shock-wave dusting) from structural joints of metal plates upon strong impacts from an explosive charge. The emission of microparticles is recorded via the pulsed radiography of synchrotron radiation. Distributions of density along the resulting microjets are presented.
