The Siberian Center for Synchrotron and Terahertz Radiation enables scientists from different organizations to apply modern analytical means using synchrotron radiation to a wide range of research. The Center has become the basis for a well-developed user community that brings together researchers from institutes of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and other organizations. In addition to performing experiments, the Center is constantly working to improve existing means and develop new approaches, which is important in light of creating experimental stations for the Synchrotron Radiation Facility—Siberian Circular Photon Source “SKlF” (SKIF project). This work is a brief overview of the current situation on the above topics.
