Abstract: This paper presents new data on the detonation parameters of lean, stoichiometric, and enriched methane–oxygen (air) and hydrogen–oxygen (air) mixtures inhibited by nitrogen and carbon dioxide. A stronger inhibitory effect of carbon dioxide on the parameters of combustion and detonation products was found by varying the ratio between the initial components.
