Реферат: Copper matrix composites are popular materials for electrical applications. In the development of these materials, one of the key challenges is to increase the mechanical strength while maintaining an electrical conductivity as high as possible. The strength of copper can be increased by adding particles of stronger metals or alloys to the copper matrix. This article aims to describe the approaches to the fabrication and design of copper matrix composites with metallic reinforcements. The structural features of traditional cast and drawn microcomposites, sintered pseudo-alloys and sintered materials with unconventional compositions (with multicomponent alloys as reinforcements) are presented. The mechanical properties and electrical conductivity of composites with different compositions and obtained by different methods are summarized. The possible topics for future research are proposed.
