Abstract: At present, when the world medical community is focused on providing personalized medical care, preoperative modeling is essentially the only tool in the hands of a surgeon when deciding whether an operation is necessary, as well as choosing a treatment tactics for a particular patient. In this study, we numerically investigated the influence of various patient-specific and phantom initial data on the results of preoperative numerical modeling of the hemodynamics of a fusiform cerebral aneurysm. It was found that the use of patient-specific mechanical properties of aneurysm tissue affects (FSI problem) the quantitative results for predicting aneurysm status, but does not introduce any differences for the prediction of zone of rupture, that could be easily found by rigid approach simulations with phantom boundary conditions, assuming maximum WSS hypothesis.
