Abstract:
The solution to the problem on the behavior of an ice cover on the surface of an ideal incompressible fluid of finite depth under a local pressure domain in the presence of a shear current is constructed. The cases of the impulse action and the time-periodic axisymmetric load are considered. The Fourier transform is used within the framework of the linear wave theory. The deflection of ice cover as a function of the flow velocity gradient, the compression coefficient, and the ice cover thickness is investigated.
